SLUG Queens GET OUT THE VOTE party! Help keep the Slime in Eugene and out of Washington, DC! Join the SLUG Queens at Cozmic Pizza for a little voter registration, a little pizza, a real good slime... This monarchy's all about the democratic process!! (...we're DC ready since we LOVE being bribed...) Already registered to vote? Bring a friend who hasn't. Come make a party of it with the SLUG Queens. Prizes, photo ops, goodies, and more.

Maude Kern's Art Center 21Th Annual Jello Art Show: This year's 21Th annual JELLO Art Show includes the work of local artists, crafters, and competitive community members using the medium of JELLO. Each year features wacky JELLO creations, the annual Tacky Food Buffet, and HRH the SLUG Queen--of course! No other medium quite captures our sentimental adoration of slime like JELLO. The JELLO Art Show annually occurs on the Saturday closest to April 1st (April Fool's Day) as a rule.
To submit your own jello artwork, bring your jello creation to Maude Kern's Art Center on the day of the Jello Art Show, Saturday, April 4, between 3:00 and 4:30 pm. The theme for this year’s show has not been announced yet. There is a $3 entry fee per piece. Contributions to the Tacky Food Buffet, featuring edible jello delicacies, are also welcome. 3rd Annual Cirque DeLuxe Fashion Show: Yeah...we know what you are thinking...Eugene? Fashion Show? You're kidding right? Well leave your tie dyed tees at home if you venture out for this evening of serious fashionista bliss. Eugene's counter culture reputation has recently exploded a bevy of uber creative clothing designers eager to see and be seen. Created and organized by Designer Mitra Chester, owner of DeLuxe (the hub of Eugene's creative clothing), this event tripled in size in it's first two years and has been a sold out, standing room only affair. Last year Chester packed the Wheeler pavilion with designers, models, paparazzi and a crowd hungry for wearable art. This year's show will appropriately be hosted by Her Majesty Queen Marie Slugtoinette- Queen of the slickest fashion. Click here for more information.

The SLUG Queen's Ball: Here Ye, here ye! Ye is invited to the Slug Queen's Ball!
Queen Marie Slugtoinette is planning a family friendly benefit costume ball! This promises to be the event of the season. Bring the kids and dress like super heroes, vampires, mermaids, robots or Slugs! There will be live music, comedy, dancing and surprises...stay tuned for details and the Queen's choice for charitable contribution.

The S.L.U.G. Queen Coronation 2009: Shake your groove thing at the 27th annual S.L.U.G. Queen coronation. Take in the music and spectacle as part of your Eugene arts experience. No one will question your feather Boa, glitter face paint or purple suit downtown today so pull out all the stops and bring the kids. This is your chance to get your photo taken with the Slug Queens of Eugene! Details TBA.

Eugene Celebration Parade: Parade Entries Promises Creative, Imaginative, and Fun Entertainment for all. Be sure to get there early to catch the Slug Queen's Magnificent Float featuring the newly coronated SLUG Queen for 2009 and all your favorite Old Queens!
Ever on the edge of appropriately behaved, The Eugene Celebration Parade participants, in general, are eager to share their own particular ideology for the enjoyment of the community and their fellow citizens.
